Since the 1990s, the Beckham family have represented the perfect intersection of British interests (football, fashion, and music), which has made them one of the most beloved families in the UK. But it’s also a brand. And brands need a face. Especially in the wake of a bitter feud.
This weekend, Romeo Beckham clearly established himself as the frontrunner for the future face of Brand Beckham. The 23-year-old appeared on the runway at London Fashion Week for the star-studded H&M show, where he walked alongside fellow nepo babies Iris Law, Amelia Gray and Lila Moss.
Although this marked his London Fashion Week catwalk debut, this is far from Romeo’s first rodeo, with the young model previously walking for Balenciaga’s spring/summer collection last year, as well as Versace’s autumn/winter womenswear in February.

The second-eldest Beckham child is making himself well known in the fashion world, taking on roles as a Puma ambassador (an honour he shares with fashion set darling Dua Lipa and reigning queen of the fashion world, Rihanna) and sitting front row at fashion shows such as Balenciaga and Saint Laurent’s.
On Instagram, he has been posting videos of Yves Saint Laurent’s live sketches from his time at Dior and quotes from Louis Vuitton creative director Pharrell Williams. His passion for the sartorial matches his mother’s, who pivoted from music to become a successful fashion designer. This journey is set to be the focus of her new Netflix documentary which launches on Netflix on October 9.
Speaking of faces — his has gone viral. Of all the Beckhams, Romeo has been anointed as the perfect mix of both his parents’ genes. In a post on X this Sunday, one netizen observed: “He really took both mugs.” The post has 132,000 likes.
And Romeo’s combination of David and Victoria’s traits extends beyond physicality. Before venturing into fashion, Romeo was David Beckham’s closest chance at a football protégé. In 2014, Beckham joined Arsenal's youth academy, aged 12. He’s since played for Inter Miami, the team partially owned by his father, and Premier League side Brentford, on their B team.

Even though Romeo has abandoned his footballing career, he’s a loyal football fan, often attending Inter Miami matches with his father or arguing over their split allegiances between Manchester United and Arsenal.
And with his eldest brother essentially “quitting” the Beckham family amid their ongoing reported feud, it appears Romeo really is Golden Balls’ golden boy. Brooklyn Beckham diverged from the family’s main interests long ago, with the 26-year-old opting for career starts in photography and cooking.

Meanwhile, Cruz Beckham has expressed an interest in music, the third pillar of the Beckham family talent foundations, allowing him to follow in his parents’ footsteps.
But it’s Romeo seems to combine a true mix of David and Victoria’s winning formulas for fame — and the trio appear to be a united front in the midst of a tumultuous feud. Could this make him the next big thing for Brand Beckham? Watch this space.
