From clapping when the plane lands to queuing at the bar - these are even more things that annoy Scousers

We like to consider ourselves quite laid back about most aspects of life, but sometimes there are things which we can't help but get annoyed at.

Yesterday, the ECHO rounded up 23 things which annoy Scousers and while many of them were not just problems for Liverpool, they still irritate us.

Thousands of people read the article - and many of you have offered even more suggestions about what annoys you - so we've included them below.

Mystery surrounds Formby Woods blaze as firefighters tackle fire for another day

They include everything from those people who clap when the plane lands to those who take ages at the petrol station. Is your pet hate among them?

1. People who queue for the bar

This seems to be happening more and more. Just stand there grouped around the bar and make sure you know who is before you

2. The roadworks on Derby Road and the Dock Road

We can't remember a time when we weren't met with orange cones during our daily commute.

3. Seeing trainers completely strangled and creased

There is just no need for tying them so tight - they won't fall off if you loosen them a little bit.

ITV This Morning fans welcome back Holly Willoughby by praising her high street fashion

4. How cringe-worthy it is listening to people who clap when the plane lands

We are always grateful to the pilots for getting us to our destination safely but you really don't need to clap them, it's annoying and you'll be judged for doing it.

5. The seagull who takes crisps from Greggs every morning

The cheeky seagull who shoplifts from Greggs every morning

The cheeky thief is a regular sight at Liverpool ONE.

6. The way people haven't got a clue how to get off a plane

There is always that one person who holds everyone up because they've decided to try and get their bag from the other end of the plane instead of just waiting for those in front to get off first.

Sneaky thief steals children's charity box from kebab shop in shameless theft

7. The struggle to walk through Liverpool without being stopped by a street seller

We know they're only doing their job but sometimes we really haven't got time to stop.

8. Waiting for a taxi at the Bombed-Out Church after a night out

Bombed Out Church, Liverpool (James Maloney / Liverpool Echo)

It feels like you're never getting home and makes you question why you even went out in the first place.

9. Trying to drive past Anfield or Goodison straight after a match

Once you're stuck in the match traffic there is no escaping it, so you're forced to sit in your car and wait it out.

10. How the other half of Liverpool seems like a new city

If you're from North Liverpool the South can seem like a mystery and if you're from South Liverpool getting around North Liverpool can be confusing too.

11. Listening to the Scouse accent on television

As much as we love being from Liverpool, we do cringe slightly when we hear our accent on national television - particularly when it's an attempt from someone who's clearly not from the city .

12. People who aren't from Liverpool claiming to be Scouse

You may live close to Liverpool, but that does not mean you're a Scouser.

Mum's warning about why you should NEVER cover a pram in hot weather

13. People who drink lager tops

We have nothing to add about this one, it just annoys us.

14. "Say Steven Gerrard"

This can get really boring

15. Choosing the wrong queue at the petrol station and getting stuck behind the driver who takes ages

Shell Petrol station, Edge Lane (Liverpool Echo)

This happens more often than we care for. It just shouldn't take so long to fill your car up.

16. Wools

We can spot them from afar and even from this distance they're annoying

17. Rail replacement buses

They can add a good 30 minutes on to any journey.

18. The traffic on Edge Lane

No matter the time of day there is always a queue of traffic and once you commit to driving that way it's hard to turn back round.

19. Restaurants that don't let you book a table

Some of our favourite restaurants in the city don't offer an option to book a table which mean we have to risk turning up and being told there is an hour wait.
