From chicken curries to pepperoni pizzas - Deliveroo reveals Nottingham's favourite food orders

The on-demand food delivery service, Deliveroo, has released the favourite food orders of every neighbourhood in Nottingham.

The company, founded in 2013 by Will Shu, has released the data as figures show the average Nottingham resident spends £104 a year on takeaways.

The data shows people living in Nottingham city centre are most likely to order a chicken katsu curry from Japanese restaurant chain Wagamama.

Chicken katsu curry was also the favourite for people living in Liverpool city centre.

And it seems that chicken is a popular dish across Nottingham with the favourite food order in outer Nottingham being chicken hot wings from Chickenlicious.

In West Bridgford, people are most likely to order butter chicken from Chakh Le India, while people in Arnold are bucking the chicken trend in favour of a pepperoni pizza from Pizza Supremo.

Joe Groves, from Deliveroo, said: "With over 300 restaurants now on the platform in Nottingham alone, it's no surprise that different areas have their unique foodie favourites.

"Nottingham's diversity is just one of the things that makes it an amazing city to live and eat in.

"We're proud to be supporting so many of the brilliant restaurants Nottingham has to offer."
