From 'brilliant' to 'heartbroken': Notts voters react to an emotional election night

Emotions have been running high as voters react to the enormity of the Conservative victory in the General Election.

With just one result to be declared - come on St Ives! - the Tories have a significant majority well above what had been predicted by pollsters.

So far the Conservatives have 364 seats (up 47), Labour 203 (down 59), SNP 48 (up 13), Lib Dems 11 (down one), and other parties 23 (same).

We've been taking a look at some of the reaction in Nottinghamshire.

For many people, the election was all about Brexit - and it delivered the right result.

Some people did say there was more to it than Brexit.

But many felt the result was the fault of the Labour leader.

But for Labour voters hoping for change, this is worrying.

And many were left devastated by what had happened.

Some people still can't believe the result.

But at least there are others being philosophical about it.
