Around a fifth of all British adults have tattoos.
Many choose to get them to show their love for a family member, to commemorate a special time in their life, or simply to show their creative side.
For others, it's the love of their city which they choose to get inked on their arms - and Bristol is no different.
From tattoos of Brunel himself to his beautiful suspension bridge, inked arms inspired by Banksy or sleeve's showing people's support of one of the city's football teams - there are hundreds of Bristol-inspired tattoos out there.
And so when Bristol Live asked its readers to share theirs, the response was huge.
