Fringe Spurs star drops social media hint that he will be first to leave the club this summer

Georges-Kevin N'Koudou has sent a hint on social media that he may not be at Tottenham for too much longer.

The Frenchman has spent the last six months of the 2018/19 season on loan at Ligue 1 side Monaco, but has sat out the majority of his time there with a hamstring injury. He played a total of 21 minutes over three league appearances for the French club.

N'Koudou joined Tottenham from Marseille in the summer of 2016, but has failed to make an impact in England. He has made just 26 appearances in a Spurs shirt over all competitions, scoring one goal and assisting two.

The 24-year-old may have now given an indication that his future lies away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. A post on his Instagram story shows workbooks captioned with the message 'Learn this language'.

The player of course, could be just preparing for a holiday, but eagle eyed Spurs fans were quick to pick up on the possible hint, and to speculate if the Frenchman could be making a move away from not only Tottenham, but the Premier League all together.

The temporary move to Monaco wasn't N'koudou's first loan spell away from Enfield. The player spent the second half of last season (2017/18) on loan at fellow Premier League club Burnley. The Spurs man made just eight appearances for the Clarets, just two of which were in the starting lineup, the winger didn't make an impact on turf Moor as he failed to register a single goal or assist in his time at the club.
