Liverpool Jeremie Frimpong Trent AlexanderArnold Bayer Leverkusen

Jeremie Frimpong has joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen, becoming Arne Slot's first signing following Trent Alexander-Arnold's move to Real Madrid.
He is joined at Anfield by former Leverkusen teammate Florin Wirtz, with the Dutch international providing a ringing endorsement for Liverpool’s marquee arrival.
The 24-year-old endorsed his close friend Wirtz as a 'very, very special player' who handles pressure well.
Frimpong's career includes time in Manchester City's youth academy, Celtic, and an unbeaten Bundesliga title win with Bayer Leverkusen in 2023-24.
Frimpong expressed strong self-belief, stating he is a 'winner' and confident in his ability to fill the 'big shoes' left by Alexander-Arnold.
