Homeowners had a lucky escape last night after brave firefighters manage to prevent a car fire from spreading to their properties.
The car went up in flames in a driveway in the Tallaght area last night.
Dublin Fire Brigade raced to the scene and managed to get the blaze under control before it caused any damage to the houses nearby.
DFB shared spectacular footage of heroic firefighters dousing the flames as they leap inside the car.
Sirens from several fire engines can be seen as a courageous member uses a massive hose to bring the raging inferno under control.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the frightening incident.
DFB said: "Firefighters from Tallaght fire station were called to a vehicle alight earlier this evening.
"Crews were able to prevent the fire spreading to nearby property, no injuries reported."
