This is the frightening moment a gang, one of whom is armed with a pitchfork, launch a savage attack on a man in west Dublin.
The scary scenes unfolded in the Cherry Orchard area this afternoon.
Footage of the incident shows a number of men raining down blows on another man.
One of the attackers is armed with what appears to be a pitchfork which he repeatedly strikes the victim with.
It's understood the victim of the attack was involved in an earlier car crash in the area. A severely damaged car can be seen in the video.
The distressing scenes then show the victim attempt to flee from his attackers, who chase him and continue to throw punches and kicks at him in front of horrified onlookers.
