Frieze Sculpture returns to Regent's Park with artworks by Lubaina Himid and Gavin Turk

It’s doors galore as artists take over Regent’s Park for the return of Frieze Sculpture.

Turner Prize-winner Lubaina Himid and Gavin Turk have both brought door sculptures to the park’s English Gardens for the annual outdoor exhibition, which features the work of 12 international artists.

They join artists such as Richard Long, Rebecca Warren, Gianpietro Carlesso and Fabio Lattanzi Antinori, whose sculptures will be on show until October 18.

A few months later than usual, the sculpture display is the single physical event hosted by Frieze in London this year, while its art fairs go digital.

For those who can’t make it to the park, the works on show are able to view with Frieze’s online Viewing Room, which brings 200 of the world’s galleries together for a digital edition of the fair.

Frieze Week marks an important date in the global art calendar, and is viewed by many as one of the best opportunities to gauge the position of the contemporary art market. Frieze Week is always marked by a surge in exhibitions around the city.

Frieze Sculpture runs until October 18. Frieze Viewing Room will run online from October 9-16 at Frieze.com
