A group of friends were "terrified" after an intruder reportedly broke into their home armed with a knife.
Beth Keelan was out celebrating her 21st birthday at the time of the burglary on Brompton Avenue in Wavertree on March 8.
The second year nursing student, who lives with six other students, said her housemates had returned home early from the night out and were in bed at the time of the incident.

Beth said the man went into one of her friend's bedrooms while she was sleeping and turned her light on and off again. He then made his way up to the third floor of the house and into another bedroom where a woman and her boyfriend were sleeping.
Beth said: "He'd opened the door and came slightly into [the room]. They couldn't see his frame properly, he was all covered up.
"He'd gone into the room pointed the knife, he didn't come anywhere near her but waved it around the room and kept asking for iPads."
After managing to redirect the man downstairs, Beth said her friends locked the door and sent a message to the group chat to warn everyone before phoning the police. The man is reported to have stolen a number of Beth's belongings including a MacBook that she uses for her studies, AirPods, a Nintendo switch, an Apple Watch and chargers.
Beth has shared what happened to warn other people in the area to be more vigilant. She said: "I didn't get back until about 7am. It wasn't until I picked up my phone and saw all my friends were texting the group chat saying there's a guy in the house with a knife.
"We're checking our doors every night now just in case. Everyone is locking their doors, everyone is taking their keys out. We were not as careful beforehand but it's one of them now, we have to be careful.
"We're absolutely terrified of him coming back."
Beth's friend Amy has set up a Gofundme page to raise money for a new laptop for Beth following the break-in. If you would like to donate to the page click here.
