Friends Reunion: How to watch in Ireland, what time and everything else you need to know

The one where the Friends reunite finally takes place on Thursday night as the cast of the hugely popular 90's and early naughties sitcom come together for a one off reunion special.

All six of the original actors Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), Matthew Perry (Chandler) and David Schwimmer (Ross) recently came together on Stage 24 at the Warner Bros Studio, the original Friends soundstage, to record the special.

Fans may be disappointed to learn that this isn’t a new episode. Rather the cast appear as themselves and reminisce about filming sharing some behind the scenes secrets and recreating some of the most famous scenes as table reads.

Special guests on the night will include the show's co-creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman and also David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliot Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai. Overseeing events will be talk show host James Corden.

The show is being broadcast on US streaming service HBO Max and while it will land on the site at the equivalent of 8.01am Irish time the service is unavailable in this country.

However, fear not as Sky have come to the rescue of eager fans.

The reunion will be available on-demand from 8am and will air on Sky One at 8pm tomorrow night. If you don’t have Sky it will also be available on streaming service Now TV which has monthly membership available from just €7.50.

Although the show ran on RTE in it's heyday the channel have no plans to show the reunion at any point telling us: "RTÉ will not be showing the Friends Reunion. We do not have the rights."

Friends ran for 236 episodes over 10 seasons from 1994 and when the final episode aired in America an estimated 52.5 million people tuned in making it the fifth most watched finale in US television history.
