Friends of late beloved fundraiser Mark Allison ready for another "Death Disco"

Friends of beloved Airdrie fundraiser Mark Allison who have kept his memory alive are gearing up for a “Death Disco 4” charity event this weekend.

Mark lost his brave battle with pancreatic cancer in 2016 and Saturday’s showcase will coincide with the anniversary of his passing – to raise cash for several good causes.

It will be held in Airdrie’s Cue Here with The Men They Couldn’t Hang – one of Mark’s favourite musical acts – headlining.

Also playing on the night with be The Novaks, fresh from an appearance at the Belladrum Festival, and Public Transport who have headlined King Tuts in recent months.

Funds raised will be split between mental health charity Back Onside, Airdrie Foodbank, Maggie’s Cancer Care and Diamonds in the Community.

Tickets are £10 and can be bought on the evening.
