Friends is coming to cinemas with 12 episodes showing across three dates

It's been a great year so far for Friends fans with more branded merchandise flooding Primark and the launch of a Friends-inspired musical. Now it gets even better as the hit American comedy is coming to cinema screens for the first time ever!

Yes if it hasn't been your, day, your week, your month or even your year, your frown will be turned upside down with the news that Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey are heading to the big screen.

Fans of the show will be able to enjoy 12 episodes across three dates.

The first four-episode screening will see season one’s The One Where Monica Gets a Roommate, The One with the Blackout, and The One With The Birth, and The One Where Ross Finds Out be screened on Sunday,December 8.

Friendsical cast at Heaton Perk

The One With the Prom Video, The One Where No One’s Ready, The One The Morning After, and The One With The Embryos, from seasons two, three and four, will follow on Wednesday, December 11.

The last instalment on Sunday, December 15 will screen The One With Chandler In A Box, The One With Ross’s Wedding Part 2, The One Where Everybody Finds Out, and The One Where Ross Got High, from seasons four, five, and six.

How to book

The 25th anniversary screenings are available to book now for Odeon Metrocentre and Silverlink (from the Odeon website ) and from the Vue website for Vue Gateshead and Cramlington.
