Friends co-creator selects her favourite episode of show - but it'll divide fans

Friends ran for 10 years, from 1994 to 2004, during which time a total of 236 episodes were made.

So much happens over the course of the series, from Monica and Chandler hooking up in London to Rachel putting beef in a trifle and Ross getting a monkey.

It's pretty much impossible to pick just one moment or one episode of the show that we love more than any other.

But for the sitcom's co-creator, Marta Kauffman, it's really simple to do.

The 63-year-old who created Friends with David Crane, was recently asked to pick her favourite episode and her choice is bound to divide die-hard fans.

Speaking to Vulture at the Producers Guild of America Awards, Kauffman said that The One With the Embryos (season four, episode 12) is the episode that "really says it all" for her.

She even went as far as to call it one of the most "iconic" episodes.

Kauffman explained her choice, saying: "It had heart, it was funny, it was emotional. That, for me, is one of the iconic episodes.”

That particular episode saw Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) discover she was pregnant with her brother and his wife's baby after agreeing to be their surrogate.

It was also the episode in which Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Joey (Matt LeBlanc) went head to head with Monica (Courteney Cox) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) in a game to see which team knew more about the other.

The prize for the winning team was Monica's beautiful apartment, which the boys won after Rachel wrongly proclaimed that Chandler is a "transpondster".

THAT'S NOT EVEN A WORD!

Kauffman also recently spoke about the possibility of a Friends reunion happening in the near future.

No concrete plans have been made as of yet, but she confirmed that there is talk of them doing something.

"Honestly, I don't know," she said. "At this point there's talk. Who knows."

She added: "If it were the right thing, if it were the six of them together reflecting, talking about their experiences, and the episodes, then I'm totally behind it. Nothing scripted. We will not do anything scripted."
