Friends blasted after getting matching tattoos as people call them 'trashy'

Two women have been blasted online after sharing a picture of their matching tattoos - as people say it's 'trashy'.

The friends decided to get tattoos that complete each other, so when one holds out her arm to show her inking the other friend has to do the same.

As the Daily Star reports, the messages they chose to get permanently inked onto their bodies read "b***h guess what", and then "b***h what?"

One of the friends shared an image of the matching tattoos on Reddit with the caption "Got matching tattoos with my bestie”, but users were not impressed.

Not everyone was as impressed by the designs and the photo garnered a lot of attention on Reddit’s “Trashy” forum.

One Redditor said: “Spot the morons.”

Another remarked: “Sad. Mother must be proud.”

And a third added: “I’m very upset about the lack of a comma in the first tattoo. It should read: “B*tch, guess what?” This is going to haunt me.”

Despite the backlash, some defended the women.

One commenter said: “This isn’t trashy at all, it’s just people making mildly questionable choices.
