Friendly Elliot's home appeal

A friendly young dog is looking for a new place to call home.

Animal Welfare experts are appealing for a new home for Elliot, a three-year-old collie, currently living at Dogs Trust’s West Calder Rehoming Centre.

His carers say he is a friendly boy who enjoys meeting new people and will happily say hello to everyone he meets.

A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “Elliot is an active dog, loves to play and especially enjoys a game of fetch.

“He has a lot of energy and is looking or new owners who share his love for the great outdoors.

“He can be uncomfortable around other dogs, so would like to walk in quiet areas.

“Elliot can live with children aged 16 and over and would prefer to be the only pet in the home.

“He has previously lived outside on a farm and does not have much experience of being in a house, so will need owners with patience to help settle him in and who are around most of the day.”

If you think you could provide a home for Elliot or any of the 50 dogs currently available for rehoming, please contact the centre on 01506 873459.

You can also follow Dogs Trust West Calder on twitter @DT_WestCalder for regular updates on events and dogs available for rehoming.
