Friendly dogs make home appeal

Animal welfare experts are appealing for a new home for two friendly dogs in their care.

Flash and Bear are five and six-year-old Lurchers currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder.

Their carers say the dogs are friendly boys who love to be around people and being the centre of attention.

A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “The pair are the best of friends and do not like to stray far from each other’s side.

“Both dogs enjoy going for trips to the beach where they can go for a quick paddle in the water. Flash never misses the chance to explore new things, while Bear is always happy to cuddle up beside you.

“Flash and Bear have a desire to chase small furries and wear a lead and muzzle when out walking. Both are content wearing these and it doesn’t stop them enjoying every minute of their adventures.

“Both dogs are housetrained and can live with children aged 14 years and over.”

If you think you think you could provide a home for Flash and Bear or any of the 50 dogs currently available for rehoming, please contact the centre on 01506 873459.

You can also follow Dogs Trust West Calder on twitter @DT_WestCalder or Instagram @dogstrust_westcalder for regular updates on events and dogs available for rehoming.

Please look at the Dogs Trust website for access during the coronavirus outbreak.
