Friendly Brodie's home appeal

Animal welfare experts are appealing to find a new home for a friendly dog in their care.

Brodie is a five-year-old Lurcher who is currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder Rehoming Centre.

His carers say he is a fun-loving boy is full of life and is looking for someone to call his best friend.

A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: “Brodie adores men and is always very affectionate towards them.

“He loves to go for walks in the countryside or the woodlands where he can discover new places to explore and investigate.

“Brodie is looking for a new owner who has had experience of owning a similar dog before. He does not like other dogs and would need to be walked in quiet areas where few dogs are around.

“He would like his own secure garden where he can spend time running around off his lead playing or relaxing in a nice sunspot.

“Brodie will flourish in an adult only home and as the only pet, this way he can have you all to himself.

“He enjoys a quiet lifestyle and can often be found lazing on the couch or sleeping in a warm cosy bed.”

If you think you can offer Brodie or any of the other 50 dogs currently available for rehoming please contact the centre on 01506 873459.

You can also follow Dogs Trust West Calder on Twitter @DT_WestCalder for regular updates on events and dogs available for rehoming.

Please look at the Dogs Trust website for access during the coronavirus outbreak.
