Today will see a damp start to the morning in parts of the country before clearing up this afternoon for some sunny spells, according to Met Eireann.
Good news for those heading to see Garth Brooks this evening as the rain looks set to keep off.
Friday, September 9, will start off with cloud and damp conditions in the north and east of the country. Rain and drizzle will break out this morning.

The rest of Ireland will be “largely dry” this morning, with “bright spells” expected alongside the odd shower.
Wet conditions will clear up for the most part by the afternoon, with conditions to remain “largely clear”. Met Eireann’s forecast for this morning said: “The rain and drizzle in the north and east will ease and largely clear during the afternoon to leave sunny spell and scattered showers across the country.”
Today will be “rather warm and humid”, with temperatures of 18 to 22 degrees. Moderate north to northwest breezes are expected.
Overnight, it is to be mainly dry with clear spells. Areas of mist and fog will form, however, as winds fall light. Temperatures will drop between 9 and 12 degrees.
Looking at Saturday, September 10, conditions look set to be mostly dry but “with a mix of cloud and sunshine”. Met Eireann said: “The best of the sunshine is expected across the north and east of the country.”
The southwest will see a few well-scattered showers, with the potential to hit other areas too.
Temperatures will also remain high tomorrow, staying between 18 and 22 degrees with moderate east and southeast winds.
Saturday night will be dry at first before cloud thickens in the south. Outbreaks of rain will spread across Munster and Connacht. Temperatures will drop between 11 and 14 degrees.
