Friday's weather forecast for Leeds as city set for sunny start followed by wet afternoon

Leeds looks set for a range of weather throughout the day on Friday, according to the Met Office.

While the city is in for a sunny start, light showers are expected throughout much of the afternoon.

It will get warmer as the day goes on, with temperatures rising from 4 °C at 9am to 8 °C at midday, clouds are forecast for the afternoon.

With the clouds, will come the light showers, which are set to begin at 3pm.

The rain will continue on until 7pm, after which it should stay dry for the rest of the day.

There will be highs of 10°C and lows of 2°C.

The sun will rise at 6.23 and the sun will set at 19.54.
