Nov. 01--The summary
Derrick Rose scored 20 points in the Bulls' 114-108 overtime loss to the Cavaliers but didn't appear in the fourth quarter or overtime Friday night after trying to play through a sprained left ankle he suffered in the second quarter of the home opener at the United Center.
LeBron James took over in overtime, scoring the Cavaliers' first eight points. James finished with 36, while Kirk Hinrich matched Rose for Bulls' honors after scoring eight huge points late in the fourth.
Afterward, Rose called his injury minor: "I'm walking around so I think everyone can breathe."

And, after a passive fourth quarter, LeBron James scored on a three-point play 17 seconds into the extra session, the first of eight straight points for him.
