Five British families, handpicked for telegenic precocity, compete to complete challenges from their own living rooms set by The Button, a glowing device that functions as both the show’s host and judge. The challenges are along the lines of a low-rent Crystal Maze, with budget clearly a consideration – one involves using books, cans and pillows to create a tower.
