Glastonbury 2015
7.30pm, BBC2

The BBC and Glastonbury go together like Alex James and cheese these days – W1A’s brand consultant Siobhan Sharpe would doubtless want to call it “GlastonBBCY”. BBC2 has Florence + the Machine and Motörhead, while BBC3 features balladeer James Bay, plus indie rockers Catfish and the Bottlemen on the Other stage. There’s further coverage still on BBC4. The Saboteurs
9pm, More4

Episode two of the Norwegian wartime thriller about the Anglo-Norwegian plot to blow up a heavy water plant essential to Germany’s manufacture of an atomic bomb. Tonight, an advance party of British commandos are parachuted in to recce the scene, but the boots on the ground aren’t prepared for quite so much snow. In fact, “boots through snow” is not a bad description for the pacing of tonight’s episode. Things are sure to pick up in later instalments. Julia Raeside

Conspiracy: The Cold War Files
8pm, Channel 5

Winning the ideological showdown of the cold war was so serious a business for the US that it covertly employed war criminals as scientists and intelligence officers, ignoring their crimes to utilise their specialist knowledge. This documentary focuses on the activities of Reinhard Gehlen, an SS general who approached the US with his knowledge of the Russian army, but ultimately led the world to a point where it was hours from nuclear war. Other topics include the Cuban missile crisis and the death of Italian prime minister Aldo Moro. John Robinson

Arthur Ashe: More Than a Champion
9pm, BBC2

It is 40 years since African-American Arthur Ashe outwitted Jimmy Connors at Wimbledon to win an unexpected title. In his desire to be the “Jackie Robinson of tennis”, breaking down racial barriers the way Robinson did in baseball, Ashe demonstrated a stoical courage and a political outlook that made him exemplary in the apolitical world of sport, right up until his death from Aids-related pneumonia. David Stubbs

The Last Leg
10pm, Channel 4

A sixth series for the satire show that picks apart the week’s news while making it look like a chat between three particularly witty friends down the pub. It features, as usual, Adam Hills as the genial mastermind and Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe as his grinning familiars. Tonight, the men are joined by stretched Muppet Stephen Merchant.
