The Friday night live Scottish Championship offering on the BBC Scotland channel has proved popular among fans.
However, there won’t be any match shown this evening (January 3) after it was confirmed that Airdrieonians vs Falkirk has been postponed.
That’s because the Excelsior Stadium failed a 5:30pm pitch inspection, with referee Ian Sneddon claiming "80-90% of the pitch has ice and is unplayable".
An Airdrie statement read: “Following a 5:30 pitch inspection, tonight’s match has been postponed. Details of the rearranged fixture will be announced in due course.”
