Six comedians from five countries will be in Bangkok for a comedy gala held as part of the "Magner's International Comedy Festival Bangkok 2019" at Westin Grande Sukhumvit Hotel on Friday from 8pm.

Headliner Phil Nichol promises to treat Thai audiences to an unforgettable performance using his unparalleled skills as an improviser. Nichol is a multi-talented act, who in addition to being an award-winning comedian, is also a critically-acclaimed actor, producer, presenter, writer and musician.
He will be joined by fellow Canadian Dana Alexander, who has been named in Now Magazine's top 10 comedians for three years running, and has performed in more than 40 countries; and Australian comedy maverick Shayne Hunter, known for his smart, poignant and socially aware boundary-pushing comedy.
Also taking the stage will be Sam See from Singapore who has entertained audiences around the globe with his idiosyncratic blend of jokes, stories and improvised humour; Sunanda Sachatrakul, who won Bangkok's Magner's Big V Competition in 2016; and US expat Meg Anderson, who specialises in character work and hamming it up.
Tickets cost 600 baht for early birds and 900 baht at the door (1,400 baht for VIP tickets inclusive of free-flow drinks and a meet-and-greet with the comedians).
