Fresh update in AC Mlian's reported interest in Matty Cash transfer

The transfer rumour linking with a departure from Nottingham Forest continues to rumble on.

Reports in recent days have linked Premier League duo Southampton and West Ham with the versatile right-back.

Italian giants AC Milan have also been credited with an interest in the Reds star, and the Serie A club continue to be linked with the 22-year-old.

According to Tuttosport, Milan have Cash lined up as a potential alternative full-back target, should a move for Wigan’s Antonee Robinson fail to materialise.

Aaron Hickley at Hearts has also been listed as an alternative target for the Serie A outfit.

Forest's valuation of Cash has been quoted to be around £18m, with the player scoring two goals and providing four assists in 30 appearances so far this season.

“In English, it is ‘no way’. No way. No way," said head coach Sabri Lamouchi on Wednesday night when asked about Cash's potential transfer.

“No way. Don’t talk about players going out. We want to talk about players who can come in.

“We are doing well. I am very close to my players, because we need to focus on the pitch. We need to focus on what they are doing now together. That is the most important thing."
