There are loads of transfer rumours concerning Championship clubs with just days remaining of the domestic-only window.
Premier League sides are still able to sign players from the second-tier, and vice-versa, but only until Friday when the deadline closes.
There is still a lot of unresolved business to be done and the next few days are set to be very busy.
Here are the latest Championship transfer rumours.
Fulham rebuff Forest approach for Knockaert
Fulham have rejected Nottingham Forest's approach to sign Anthony Knockaert, according to Football Insider.
The winger is out of favour at Craven Cottage, having been linked with Cardiff City earlier in the window.
However, with Chris Hughton, who managed the winger while in charge at Brighton, having recently taken over at Forest, the Midlands outfit are thought to be keen on signing the winger.
However, it is thought Fulham have knocked back Forest's approach to sign Knockaert on a season-long loan.
Rooney calls West Brom striker over Derby move
Derby County star Wayne Rooney has contacted West Brom striker Charlie Austin in a bid to lure him to Pride Park before Friday.
That’s according to Football Insider, who are reporting that the ex-Manchester United striker is playing a hands-on role in the Rams’ transfer business.
Derby are keen to bolster their attacking options before Friday’s deadline and Austin is a proven Championship goalscorer.
West Brom are working on signing another striker in the coming days, and that could mean Austin would fall even further down the pecking order at the Hawthorns.
It is also claimed that the Bluebirds are interested in bringing Austin in on a season-long loan this term.
Swansea star wanted by Premier League duo
Swansea City forward Andre Ayew is a target for Premier League sides Brighton & Hove Albion and West Bromwich Albion.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who claim that the Seagulls and Albion are looking at making a late move for the Ghana captain ahead of Friday’s deadline.
Ayew has plenty of Premier League experience already with Swansea and West Ham United.
Steve Cooper is now facing an anxious wait to find out whether the Swans will be able to persuade the striker to stay at the Liberty Stadium beyond the deadline.
Watford in for Cardiff's Joe Bennett
Cardiff City's Championship rivals Watford are reportedly interested in signing Joe Bennett this week.
The left-back has been a shoo-in for the Bluebirds over the course of his four-year stay in the Welsh capital, having been a nailed-on starter when fit.
Just this season the 30-year-old celebrated his 150th Bluebirds appearance, in the 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest at The City Ground, and is one of the more experienced players at Neil Harris' disposal.
But Sky Sports now report that Watford, who were relegated from the Premier League last season and are doubtless trying to reinforce their squad to mount another promotion charge, are keen on taking him to Vicarage Road.

Brentford close to agreeing a deal for star
Brentford and West Ham are close to agreeing a fee for winger Said Benrahma, according to The Guardian.
The Premier League side initially had a £13m bid rejected for Bournemouth striker Josh King, and could turn to the Bees star instead.
The Algerian winger is valued at £25m by the Championship club, and the Hammers have held “productive talks” over the weekend.
The fee proposed by David Moyes’ side is around £20m, with add-ons, and they hope to be in a position where they can discuss personal terms with Benrahma in the coming days.
Sheffield Wednesday take 20-year-old on trial
Sheffield Wednesday are considering offering youngster Okera Simmonds a deal after taking him on trial.
Simmonds has played for Accrington Stanley, Blackburn Rovers and Liverpool over the years and he is currently training with the Owls’ U23 side.
The 20-year-old can play in different forward positions, and is expected to play for Lee Bullen’s U23 side this week.
If Wednesday were to offer Simmonds a deal, then he would be likely to stay with Bullen’s team for the time-being.
QPR lead race for free agent
QPR are winning the race to sign now-free agent and former Manchester City youngster Wato Kuate, according to TEAMtalk.
Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham City are also interested in the 25-year-old, who is now without a club after leaving Finnish side RoPS.
However, QPR are in talks with the free agent, and could bring him on a trial this week, the report states.
Kuate came through Man City’s academy system, and is now looking for a move back to England.
