Music on the internet? Not a dream any longer. Here are today's links selected by the GUM team:
· The White Stripes are not splitting up, ok!? And thank god, otherwise we'd miss out on treats like this!
· There are pictures of Pete Doherty playing with some cute kittens on www.hedislimane.com. (You need to click through to the Diary section and scroll down.)
· A new Hot Chip track, as premiered at New York's Webster Hall. According to Popjustice, they might give it to Kylie. Then again, they might not.
· You wanna be a video director? All you need is a stupid haircut, incredibly rich parents and... er, hang on you don't need none of that no more. All you need to do is compose a new video for New Young Pony Club track 'ice cream' and submit it to their YouTube page. Don't submit that Intel ad the song was on recently; they won't like it.
· Gordon Brown likes the Arctic Monkeys, Call Me Dave likes the Smiths, but what do the candidates vying to be president of the USA like to listen to? What is it?
· Our podguests the Cribs have had their video for Men's Needs banned due to images of a sexual nature and pretend limb-chopping.
