Fresh Links: the music breakfast of champions

Here's today Lily-free round-up of what's interesting and music-related on the internet:

· Is this the beginning of the end for Simon Cowell? Television's Mr Nasty rolled his eyes on Tuesday's episode of American Idol when a contestant sent his "heart and prayers" to Virginia Tech. It's causing a furor, but Cowell says he wasn't listening to the contestant and is mortified. Watch the video and see what you think.

· It's like Mona Lisa revisited, perhaps, or Harold from the Long Good Friday reinvented in late middle age. Whatever, it's Bob Hoskins wandering down the South Bank with a mean face on and, well, mouthing the words to Jamie T's new single Sheila. In fact it's the actual video for said single. And worth watching it is too.

· Mogwai are just saying what everyone is thinking about the Sgt Pepper cover project.

· A colourful new vid from Bonde Do Role.

· The Klaxons are going... prog?

· There is a funny story about how Pussyhole - the new, normally heavily-asterisked track by Dizzee Rascal - leaked on to the internet ahead of time. Sadly, we can't tell it. Still, it has now been purged from the net, for download at least, but if you ever wanted to see what a cease and desist letter looks like, check the comments here and just visualise the Web Sheriff in your mind's eye.
