Police have fresh fears that a missing Ayrshire teenager could now be 450 miles away from home.
Emma Goodard vanished from her home in Stevenston one week ago.
The 14-year-old has been spotted in Manchester on Monday at around 9pm in the Market Street area.
But officers suspect she's now traveled on to the Brixton area of London.
Cops also say that Emma Goddard has been using alternative names including Aster and Mason and may have been pretending she's older than 14.
Emma described as white, around 5ft 5in in height, with short red/auburn hair, which may now be coloured with a blue dye. Emma wears glasses and was last seen wearing black clothing with a blue jacket and carrying several black bags.
Inspector Claire Walker, Police Scotland, said: “Since Emma was reported missing we have been carrying out significant enquiries and it is now believed that Emma has travelled to the Brixton area of London.
“I am appealing for anyone with any information on Emma’s whereabouts to contact us. I would also appeal to Emma herself to get in touch with us or family and friends.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 3469 of Thursday, September 1, 2022.
