Fresh development in Golders Green ambulance attack case

  • A fourth person, 18-year-old Judex Atshatshi, has been charged following the alleged arson attack on four Jewish community ambulances in north-west London last month.
  • Atshatshi, from Dagenham, east London, faces one count of arson with intent to damage property and being reckless as to whether life would be endangered.
  • The incident on 23 March in Golders Green involved Hatzola ambulances, resulting in gas canister explosions and an estimated £1 million worth of damage.
  • Atshatshi was arrested on 16 April by counter-terrorism detectives and is expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
  • Two other men, Hamza Iqbal and Rehan Khan, and a 17-year-old boy were previously charged with similar offences and remanded in custody.
