
A TEENAGER accused of dangerous driving relating to a fatal crash on the Central Coast has been slapped with two fresh charges.
Emergency services were called to Washington Avenue at Niagara Park about 4.30am on March 21 after reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Four teenage boys were seriously injured. One, 17, died at the scene.
Paramedics took two, a 17-year-old from Terrigal and an 18-year-old from Wyoming, to the John Hunter Hospital while a third teenager, from Ourimbah, received treatment at Gosford.
The alleged driver, 18, was charged on his release from hospital the following day.
Crash investigators charged him with five offences: dangerous driving occasioning death - drive manner dangerous; dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm - drive manner dangerous; negligent driving (occasioning death); negligent driving (occasioning grievous bodily harm), and P1 driver - less than 25 - drive at night with more than one passenger less than 21 years.
On Thursday the Ourimbah teenager was charged with two counts of drive motor vehicle with illicit drug present in oral fluid and driving under the influence of drugs.
He will face Gosford Local Court on Friday.
