Almost 2,000 people have now tested positive for coronavirus in Leeds.
Public Health England has revealed that 301,815 people have tested positive for the virus in the UK and in Leeds the number of confirmed cases has reached 1,890.
However, over the last seven days just 16 cases have been diagnosed in the city and only four deaths have been recorded.
On Friday, NHS England announced another 46 people, including three in Leeds, had died at hospitals across the country.
That means 2,433 coronavirus patients have died at NHS hospitals in the county.
According to figures released by the Office for National Statistics, more than 640 people have lost their lives to coronavirus in Leeds. 367 of them died in hospital and 244 died in care homes.
During today's briefing at Downing Street, education secretary Gavin Williamson confirmed that the government has lowered the coronavirus alert level from 4 to 3.
He also said the country's R value (used to measure the reproduction rate of the virus) remains at 0.7 to 0.9. The government is aiming to keep it below one.
He added: "In all four nations, there's been a continuing steady decrease in cases, but this doesn't mean the pandemic is over.
"The virus is still in general circulation and localised outbreaks are likely to occur."
