Fresh cases of coronavirus confirmed in Leeds as 82 diagnosed across Yorkshire

There have been another six cases of coronavirus in Leeds according to the most recent figures.

The total in the city since the pandemic began now stands at 3,725.

It comes as another 82 cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Yorkshire.

Only three areas in the county did not record a rise with the majority of the positive Covid-19 cases being reported in Bradford.

The number of cases of the virus in Yorkshire is almost at 30,000 with the figure now standing at 29,942.

Bradford confirmed another 35 cases of coronavirus, the highest in the county by far.

The next highest figure was Wakefield confirming a further 10 cases.

Kirklees reported another 8 cases and Sheffield also had another 7 to add to its tally.

Doncaster, York and North Yorkshire did not record any rise in cases.

It comes as another two coronavirus deaths were confirmed today in Yorkshire's hospitals.

In total 15 people died in England, aged between 46 and 90-years-old.

  • Wakefield - was 1,768 now 1,778 (+10)
  • North Yorkshire - still 2,544
  • Sheffield - was 4113 now 4,120 (+7)
  • Barnsley - was 1,954 now 1,958 (+4)
  • Bradford - was 4,607 now 4,642 (+35)
  • Calderdale - was 756 now 759 (+3)
  • Rotherham - was 1,981 now 1,987 (+6)
  • Kirklees - was 2,286 now 2,294 (+8)
  • York - still 912
  • Doncaster -still 2,016
  • East Riding of Yorkshire - was 1,647 now 1,648 (+1)
  • Hull - was 1,557 now 1,559 (+2)
