Fresh appeal to trace Scots teens who have been missing for over a week

Police have launched a fresh appeal to trace two Lanarkshire teens.

Courtney Semple, 16, has been reported missing from the Kirkmuirhill and Blackwood area and was last seen nine days ago on June 19 around 9.05pm.

She is known to have connections to Clydebank, East Kilbride, Larkhall and surrounding areas and is known to frequent both Glasgow and Edinburgh City Centres.

It is thought she may be with another missing teen called Liam Kennedy, 17.

Liam is from the Plains areas of Airdrie and was last seen about 9.55pm on June 21 this year.

Liam is described as 6ft 4in tall, slim build, short brown hair, blue/grey eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black tracksuit top and black tracksuit bottoms.

Courtney is described as, 4ft 1in tall, slim build with blonde hair. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing grey shorts white tank top and a black Nike zipper.

Police Scotland say: “If you have any information regarding either of these missing people, please contact us on 101 quoting incident number "PS-20210619-4135".”
