Fresh advice for people waiting to buy a PS5 from GAME, Currys, Argos, Very, Smyths, John Lewis and Amazon

With many gamers in the UK still waiting to get their hands on a Playstation 5 console, people are constantly checking retailers like GAME, Currys, Argos, John Lewis, Smyths and Amazon.

Countless gamers have tried to secure one of the consoles, but have failed due to high demand and limited availability.

However, it has been reported that more Sony PS5 consoles will be available to buy in the UK 'very soon'.

A PS5 stock account on Twitter says stock is expected on February 18, reports BirminghamLive.

They wrote: "The next shipment of PS5s should last a lot longer. Scalping is becoming less profitable as PS5s price on eBay went average £755 to £680 (disc and dig) and despite AMD issues, this stock will be much bigger for the UK. Expect stock 18th.”

Here are all of the latest updates:

  • GAME

GAME no longer has PS5 stock available, with no update on when new stock will arrive.

  • Amazon

Despite some stock being available last week, Amazon's website now says the retailer does not know "when or if" the PS5 will be back in stock.

  • Smyths

Smyths has now sold out of its allocated stock. A message on the retailer's website says that PS5 stock is now not expected until January 2021, meaning a restock could be arriving any day now.

According to Twitter user @MoonsUGN, who frequently shares PS5 stock updates, Smyths is expecting stock this month.

  • Very

Online retailer Very shared a statement to its website , which reads: "Unfortunately we have sold out of our PS5 consoles for now. We have more stock coming so keep checking back for our next drop."

  • Argos

Argos has not listed an update on when shoppers can expect more stock.

  • AO
