But though the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles enjoyed their moment in the sun in the 80s, it seems their influence lives on in the uniform of France's riot police. Padded arms, check. Padded knees, check. Breastplate, check. Mask/visor, check. Who's da turtle? as Michelangelo would put it.
