The only loss on Novak Djokovic's 35-1 record in 2020 was a result of his fourth-round disqualification at the U.S. Open - and his opponent that day, Pablo Carreno Busta, was across the net again in the quarter-finals.
But the world number one battled past the Spaniard in four sets despite suffering from neck and arm injuries to set up a semi-final clash against no.5 seed Stefanos Tsitisipas, who beat Andrey Rublev.
The women's semi-final fixtures are now complete, with 2020 Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin beating Danielle Collins in three sets to face two-time Wimbledon winner Petra Kvitova, who cruised past the unseeded Laura Siegemund.
