French Montana helps cab driver whose taxi was destroyed during Knicks celebrations

  • Rapper French Montana , also known as Karim Kharbouch, saw the viral video and offered to help the cab driver.
  • Montana, along with Zachery Dereniowski and the New York Taxi Workers Alliance, launched a GoFundMe campaign for Bitat.
  • The fundraising campaign quickly exceeded its $25,000 goal, raising over $36,000 to assist the driver in repairing his vehicle and returning to work.
