The city of Fremantle is home to a thriving food and drink scene, and while it offers a variety of cuisines, the port city is best known for its seafood.
Each year, the Fremantle seafood festival attracts around 15,000 food and wine enthusiasts to the fishing boat harbour, which has become a popular tourist precinct, with old harbour buildings renovated for cafes, breweries and art galleries. Once again, the seafood festival will fill the harbour strip, offering seafood tastings, masterclasses with celebrity chefs and more.
