MUMBAI: Vaccination at public centres will remain closed for four days from Thursday to Sunday because of festivities, the BMC said on Wednesday. The drive will resume on Monday.
Additional municipal commissioner Suresh Kakani said there are adequate stocks of vaccine, but footfalls are very low. On Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, barely 30,000 people got their shots. Across the state too, the daily vaccination count has dropped to 3 lakh. Kakani said the numbers are likely to pick up after Diwali.
