'Free Tomori' - Chelsea fans react to Frank Lampard's starting XI to face Krasnodar

Chelsea fans have been reacting to the starting 11 to face Krasnodar this evening in the Champions League with many unhappy Fikayo Tomori has been left on the bench.

Frank Lampard has named a much-changed side with the Blues already through to the knockout stage of the competition and with top spot wrapped up following last week's 4-0 away win over Sevilla.

Lampard has made 10 changes for this evening's clash with Billy Gilmour returning for his first start since his knee injury and youngster Tino Anjorin has also been given the nod.

Kepa Arrizabalaga has returned in goal, replacing Edouard Mendy who has started ahead of the Spaniard in the Premier League and Champions League of late.

The defence will be made up of Cesar Azpilicueta, Andres Christensen, Antonio Rudiger and Emerson Palmieri, while Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho and Gilmour make up the midfield.

Tammy Abraham starts up top, hoping to do his bit to win back his spot from Olivier Giroud, who has been in fine form of late, scoring four against Sevilla and another against Leeds United.

Abraham will be supported in the front line by Anjorin and Kai Havertz, the latter being the only player to keep his place from the 3-1 win over Leeds in the Premier League.

Chelsea fans have been reacting to tonight's team news on social media and many are unhappy Fikayo Tomori is not starting.

Here's what a selection have had to say.

Tomori has played just three times across all competitions this season, not featuring at all in Europe.

Chelsea's spot in the next stage of the Champions League has already been wrapped up, and they know they will face one of the runners-up from the other groups having sealed top spot.

That is, on paper, an advantage, but with Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and others all in the running to finish second in their respective groups, it might not be such an advantage this season.
