Families in West Lothian can help themselves to free school uniforms thanks to super-generous social enterprise Kidzeco.
Bosses at the organisation were inspired to start a free giveaway after seeing an article on the BBC today which reported that children from less advantaged backgrounds had been "asking Santa for a new school uniform".
Kidzeco have shops in Livingston and Bathgate and are handing out free clothes in both towns, with a range of sizes for both boys and girls available.
Those at the Bathgate shop told Edinburgh Live this afternoon that they've still got around 30 to 40 uniforms to give away, and have already handed out dozens today.
They've also been receiving emails from people looking to make donations of their own, helping bolster the stock.
They plan to keep it going until all uniforms have gone.
Pupils are due back in school across West Lothian next Wednesday (21 August).
The BBC article which sparked the amazing gesture explains that uniform banks are being "swamped with requests" in parts of the country.
Kidzeco was set up in 2010 to help families in West Lothian save money on clothing by avoiding high street prices, and also help care for the environment.
They also run music, movement and sensory classes for parents and children.
Kidzeco are located on George Street, Bathgate, and at The Centre in Livingston.
