Nothing says Christmas quite like a fried chicken burger, right?
Yeah, probably not. But that won't stop us wanting to get our hands on one of KFC 's new festive burgers, filled with their iconic original recipe chicken, crispy hash brown, stuffing mayo and cranberry sauce.
Today (Thursday November 28), lucky Londonders can get their hands on one of the limited edition finger lickin’ burgers from the fried chicken kings by heading to Southbank.
It's all thanks to Deliveroo, whose famously dressed riders will be dishing out the goods over lunchtime, next to a giant Christmas present (what else?).
The larger than life gift has been wrapped in over 500 sq ft of bespoke sustainably sourced and recyclable KFC wrapping paper and adorned with 60 ft of ribbon, beats a Chocolate Orange in your stocking, eh?
Those not lucky enough to nab a free Festive Burger can head to Deliveroo to try one for themselves, the limited edition item is available from KFC on Deliveroo until 1st January and is priced at £4.59, the Festive Burger Meal from £5.59 and the Festive Burger Box Meal from £6.89.
Joe Groves at Deliveroo said “Deliveroo is a bit Christmas mad so when KFC came to us with this exclusive new menu item we knew it deserved something ridiculously festive to launch it to the Great British public and what says Christmas more than the gift of giving”.
Kate Wall, Secret Santa co-ordinator at KFC UK & Ireland said “We know it’s not December 25th yet, but we wanted to make sure that we gave some die-hard KFC fans their first Christmas gift of the year.”
