Free ice cream at new standup comedy show every Sunday in Edinburgh

A new standup comedy show in Edinburgh has an added perk for audience members - free ice cream.

"I Scream Sunday" now has a regular afternoon slot at Monkey Barrel Comedy Club on Blair Street.

There will be a core team of comedians as well as guests each week, discussing the events of the past seven days.

Everyone who pays the £3 entry fee will get an ice cream. Entry is free for students.

The team say: "It’s a chilled and friendly mix of stand-up, improv and music, with very special comedy guests - but the best part is the free ice cream!

"That’s right, every show audiences can grab a sugar rush as well as a top laugh - with the I Scream Sunday crew even providing vegan alternatives for those with special dietary requirements."

The core lineup includes Ben Verth, Jill Cowley, Steven Millar and Phil O'Shea.

The show runs between 4.30pm and 6pm every Sunday, though will be taking a break during the Edinburgh Fringe in August.
