Free haircuts in Glasgow today if you donate to a Trussell Trust foodbank

Some of Glasgow's most innovative young businesses are teaming up to do some good today.

Fashion brand the Blankfaces has joined forces with its neighbours at city centre creative hub Colab in aid of homeless people across the area.

Anyone who pops into the Sauchiehall Street space will be able to take advantage of a one-stop charity drive which aims to boost the coffers of the Trussell Trust.

If you head into the Savoy Centre and donate four pieces of tinned food at any of the premises in Colab today, you'll be treated to a haircut at the Savoy barber as a way of thanks.

And that's not all...

Other organisations getting in on the kind-hearted action include quirky creatives Pie in the Sky, who are offering 10 per cent off of all their handmade goods in return for a drop-off and Kohipoke, who are serving up their coffees for just £1.50.

Meanwhile, the Blankfaces (the UK's first label which works towards ending homelessness) will be offering their amazing designs for 20 per cent off the usual price.

With all the donations set to be distributed to the Trussell Trust foodbanks in Glasgow,  we'd say it pays to do your bit for a worthy cause in the city today, folks.

Get yourselves along to 140 Sauchiehall Street now!
