As essential as they are, we’re sometimes put off by the cost when it comes to important health checks like eye tests and the dentist.
But if you're due a visit to the opticians, you can now get it for free, as Boots has just launched a free eye test voucher on its website.
Worth £25, the voucher can be used by absolutely everyone to get a free eye test - and you won't have to buy a single thing.
All you need to do is make an appointment at Boots opticians before 31st July 2019, and present the voucher on arrival (which you can download here or via the Boots website ).
To book an eye test, you can either call 0345 125 3752, visit your nearest Boots Opticians or book an appointment online.
However, you will need to use the voucher before the start of August, as it expires on July 31, so make sure you book yours sooner rather than later in order to get a slot before the freebie runs out.
While you don't need to buy anything to get the discount or see your prescription, if you do choose to pick up some glasses while you're there, there's also a £20 off voucher for when you spend over £20 on prescription glasses or sunglasses.

One user with the name unclejim said "Used this twice now. They do give you your prescription regardless, but the high pressure sell they adopt during the test is really annoying and there very pleasant attitude changes for the worse when they realise you are not going to buy anything. Still free though, just stick up for yourself."
Meanwhile penguini offered up their own sneaky money-saving tip for how to get a free eye test, saying "Just walk into boots and ask for an appointment. Never paid yet. Tell em you’ll nip to specsavers instead and they put a coupon from the till".
