Nottingham Racecourse, at Colwick Park, has organised a Residents Free Night for Monday, June 17, which - much as it sounds - gets residents in for free as long as they book online in advance.
Places can be secured by visiting thejockeyclub.co.uk/nottingham and using the code NGFREE when booking.
The first race time is 5.50pm.
General admission on the day is £15, accompanied under 18s are admitted free of charge, young adults, aged 18 to 24 years, can get half-price admission by registering at RacePass18to24.co.uk and claiming a free RacePass membership card.
Students and senior citizens, with appropriate identification, can bag £5 off Grandstand admission on the day.
Nottingham Racecourse general manager James Knox says: “Anyone with an NG postcode is welcome free of charge to this evening of racing as we look to reward our local community. Why not get a group of friends together and make it a night to remember?”
