Families will be able to enjoy their own Jurassic Park-style adventure this summer as the Great Dino Dig comes to Liverpool.
The free family event will see kids digging for fossils, meeting dinosaur keepers and real-life dinosaurs (August 13 only).
The Great Dino Dig is a Ykids event and will be hosted at the charity's children's bookshop Kingsley & Co in the Strand Shopping Centre in Bootle.

The bookshop offers a beautiful library of £1 children's books, Victorian artefacts, barista-quality coffee and delicious cakes so there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The summer event aims to bring the community together after Covid-19 and is suitable for families with children of any age and parental supervision is required.
There will be fantastic dinosaur stories from the wonderful storytellers, you can follow the dinosaur trail, make friends and have a raw-some time.
The event will be running from July 26 until August 14, 2021.
Ykids is a charity based in Bootle who have been putting on FREE community events for more than 20 years to bring joy and restoration to children and families and is putting on this event with the support of Sovini (One Vision Housing), Sefton Council and Strand Shopping Centre.
